Uncovering Your Core Message

You guys — I am SO excited for this Lunch + Learn! Okay, okay… really I am always excited, but this one has been in the works for a while now. As you know, I am a big fan of quality branding. Not only the brand identity, but the entire messaging and brand as a whole. Our guest in this workshop, Erica Midkiff, is the queen of stellar content, and clarifying the vision behind your brand. I always love receiving her newsletter in my inbox, and hearing her insight into the other side of branding.

Here’s a taste for what Erica touches on during the workshop:

“When I work with my clients, we dig deep into a number of different areas of their business, get really clear on who they are, what they know, how they can help, who they can help, and so on—but one of the biggest and most important things we create is a core message.

This is a simple but elegant statement, just a sentence or two, that sums up all that you do. It’s the heart of your business, the catalyst for all of your content, the touchstone that you return to again and again when you have new ideas or start playing that comparison game we know all too well.”

In this workshop we cover:

  • How to define your core message
  • Why your core message is important
  • How content + branding work together
  • PLUS a live Q+A, to ask us anything

Loved this…”It’s scary to define what you do because you have to stand alone.” Adored that because it’s so true. Great conversation ladies! xo – deana
